Fishing
From 9:00 pm to 7:00 am from 15 June to 15 September, you can fish (with a licence) in the following areas:
- Cala Rovira
- Cala Sa Conca
- Port d'Aro
- Cala Oriços (on the side of the Sa Conca islet)
During the rest of the year there are no limitations.

One can be requested at any time
The period of validity of all the kinds of licences begins on the day that the payment is made, except for the R5 and R6 licences, for which the date of validity can be chosen 15 days in advance.
Types of licences
They are an authorisation for recreational (non-professional) fishing in continental and surface maritime waters, from land or a boat, with any equipment authorised for this kind of fishing.
There are different kinds of surface recreational licences:
- R5: one-day tourist recreational licence.
- R6: two-day tourist recreational licence.
- R0: fifteen-day tourist recreational licence.
- R1: one-year recreational licence.
- R2: two-year recreational licence.
- R3: three-year recreational licence.
- R4: four-year recreational licence.
- M1: one-year recreational licence without death.
- M2: two-year recreational licence without death
- M3: three-year recreational licence without death.
- M4: four-year recreational licence without death.
- RM: recreational licence for minors. Free of charge for under 18s. It's valid for four years.
- RJ: recreational licence for people over 65 years of age. It's free of charge and valid for four years.
- DR: recreational licence for the disabled. It's valid for four years and free of charge for people who provide documentary evidence.
Requirements
- If the person who wishes to apply for the licence is under 18 years of age, he/she must receive the authorisation of the person who legally represents him/her.
- He/she must not be disqualified from the activity of recreational fishing.
- The amounts of the fines for offences provided for in Law 22/2009 of 23 December on the sustainable management of fishing in continental waters, Law 2/2010 of 18 February on maritime fishing and action and Law 3/2001 of 26 March on State maritime fishing must have been paid.

For general recreational fishing (with or without death, indistinctly)
- Validity lasting 1 day: €3.15
- Validity lasting 2 days: €5.20
- Validity lasting 15 days: €11.50
- Validity lasting 1 year: €27.10
- Validity lasting 2 years: €43.75
- Validity lasting 3 years: €62.45
- Validity lasting 4 years: €73.90
For exclusively recreational fishing without death
- Validity lasting 1 year: €19.80
- Validity lasting 2 years: €36.45
- Validity lasting 3 years: €53.10
- Validity lasting 4 years: €68.70
The licence is free of charge for people under 18 years of age, people over 65 years of age and people who can provide documentary evidence that one of the following situations applies to them:
- A disability equal to or greater than 33% recognised by a resolution or certificate issued by the Institute for the Elderly and Social Services (Imserso) or the competent body of the corresponding autonomous community. In Catalonia, the competent body is the Secretariat for Social Inclusion and Promotion of Personal Autonomy.
- The status of pensioner, due to a total, absolute or severe permanent disability recognised by a resolution of the National Institute of Social Security.
- Being at least 65 years old and a beneficiary of a retirement pension or pension due to permanent incapacity for service or unfitness, recognised by a resolution of the Ministry of Economy and Finance or the Ministry of Defence.
