Castell d'Aro Festival

From 3 to 13 September, Castell d'Aro celebrates its Main Festival, an unmissable event for enjoying the traditions, culture and festive atmosphere of this Costa Brava town.

Throughout the celebrations, the streets and squares of Castell d'Aro come alive with activities for all ages: live music, sardanas, traditional songs, shows, children's activities, sports, food, entertainment and events to enjoy both during the day and at night.

The programme features traditional events such as the Festival Opening Speech, Solemn Mass, the walk to the springs, the Popular Bike Ride, sardanas, and the Main Festival concert and dance, alongside more playful activities including TractoBeer, the popular Arrossada, Foodtrucks, a Botifarra Championship, a Water Slide and a wide range of concerts and shows.

Music is one of the highlights of the festival, with performances by groups and artists including Gospel d'Aro, Peix Fregit, La Cobla Orquestra Selvatana, Xibarrri, The Covers Band, Banda Neon, DJ Ivanote and DJ Kay, among many other acts.

The Main Festival is also a great opportunity to discover Castell d'Aro, its surroundings and heritage, while sharing a few days of celebration with local residents and visitors.
