MADERA VIVA TRIO

Madera Viva comprises: Jordi Rodríguez (guitar), Agustí Espin (electric bass) and Isaac Vigueras (percussion). It is a musical journey that draws on the roots of flamenco and evolves into a unique, intimate and contemporary style. A trio concert in which the guitar, bass and percussion engage in a dialogue characterised by power, sensitivity and freedom, bringing the album's repertoire and live performances to life.

This project combines the tradition of flamenco with a contemporary perspective, open to other musical languages. The repertoire, comprising original compositions, is performed by a trio - guitar, bass and percussion - and explores the rhythmic and melodic richness of flamenco through styles such as tangos, bulerías, alegrías, soleá and seguiriyas.

It is an expression of live music, characterised by power, lyricism and improvised dialogue, creating an intimate, vibrant sound full of nuance. The project seeks to preserve the essence of traditional flamenco's roots, whilst aiming to expand its expressiveness into new sonic and stylistic territories.
