The concert programme focuses on the profound influence of Spanish music over the centuries, from the Baroque period to 21st-century postmodernism. The selection of both Spanish and foreign composers is characterised by the incorporation of elements typical of the Spanish musical tradition.

The programme includes works by Domenico Scarlatti, whose harpsichord sonatas, adapted for the guitar, reflect his deep connection with Spanish folk music. Isaac Albéniz, whose piano works - in particular 'Torre Bermeja' and 'Córdoba' - have been adapted for the guitar to evoke the spirit of flamenco and Andalusia. Furthermore, the programme features composers such as Fernando Sor, Joaquín Rodrigo and Miguel Llobet, who incorporate elements of Spanish music into their musical language, thereby consolidating the guitar's identity as a national instrument.
