The Platja d'Aro Carnival is back, with around twenty activities. The street is the main stage and two-thirds of the programme takes place there, in line with the commitment of the Town Council and the Federation of Comparsas to a popular, family-friendly Carnival in which most activities are free of charge.
Highlights include the Comparsas Dinner, the Presentation of the 'Carnestoltes' Kings and Carnival groups, children's parades, the popular "Butifarrada" and 'Arrossada', the Grand Carnival Parade and the Burial of the Sardine, among others.
